Online Systems To Climb Scafell Pike To Raise Money For Jigsaw Hospice

On Saturday 12th May 2018, a team from Online Systems will be taking part in the Scafell Pike Hike to help raise money for Cumbrian children’s hospice, Jigsaw.

This fundraising event marks the first of many as we pledged to raise thousands of pounds throughout 2018 in aid of this fantastic charity.  The Scafell Pike Hike marks the first of many fundraising events we have planned, which also include taking part in the Great North Run, a proposed Fashion Show and events held within the office such as ‘Dress Down Friday’.

Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England at 978 metres above sea level, making it a real challenge for our team.

In February, we announced that Jigsaw Hospice was our chosen charity and we are working hard on our partnership.  The money raised during the charity of the year partnership will allow Jigsaw to provide unique care and support to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. Jigsaw’s dedicated team of trained and highly skilled nurses, health care assistants and activity co-ordinators provide the individualised, complex nursing and therapeutic support each child and young adult needs.

It currently costs £2,126.46 to pay for a day’s care in Jigsaw and our goal at Online Systems is to raise as much money as possible.  We understand both the importance of being involved within the local community and how vital fundraising is.

If you would like to support our fundraising efforts at Online Systems, we have set up a Just Giving page and any donations or support is much appreciated.
