Covid-19 Update from Online Systems.
Online Systems remain open and are on hand to help our customers during this third lockdown in England. In line with the announcement by the Government on Monday 4 January to lock down for the third time, to help slow down the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), Online Systems are once again implementing remote and safe working practices with immediate effect.
The majority of our team will be working from home and have complete access to their usual telephony and IT systems, ensuring they are able to assist our customers fully. We expect our customers to receive the usual quality of service and support, however, there may be some reduced on-site activity for any critical work. Our main priority in these cases will be key worker industry sectors, such as:
- health and social care
- education and childcare
- key public services
- local and national Government
- food and other necessary goods
- public safety and national security
- transport, utilities
- communication and financial services
We will continue to attend sites for customers outside these sectors where the purpose is to help them meet the government guidelines; to work remotely or to facilitate social distancing in the workplace.
We reserve the right to prioritise jobs in certain sectors where necessary. So far this has not been necessary and we expect to have enough capacity and future resource to avoid this becoming an issue.
Keeping our employees safe
The team at Online Systems will continue to supply our staff who are attending customer sites with antibacterial wipes and sanitiser. We are also asking our staff to follow the government guidelines associated with social distancing and personal hygiene. We ask of our customers that you do the same with your staff, to allow us to work within as safe a working environment as possible.
