Exciting new partnership for Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice and Online Systems

Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice are proud to announce an exciting, new charity of the year partnership with Online Systems.

Over the coming 12 months employees from the Carlisle based company are aiming to raise thousands of pounds to support the local charity. The staff are hoping to organise a number of their fundraising events, as well as taking part in events organised by the children’s hospice.

Managing Director of Online Systems Ltd, Greg Morton, comments “We are delighted to be in partnership with Jigsaw and to be able to support such a worthwhile local cause. At Online Systems, we believe it is important to give back to the communities where we live and work and Jigsaw provides such a valuable support to families and children in Cumbria. We are looking forward to working alongside Cumbria’s children’s hospice and the fundraising events we have planned.”

Natalie Bingham, Corporate Fundraiser at Jigsaw, says ‘’We are over the moon that Online Systems have chosen to support Jigsaw in 2018. It currently costs £2,126.46 to pay for a day’s care in Jigsaw, so support from the business community is vital. Their fundraising efforts are already off to a flying start and we can’t wait to work alongside them throughout the rest of the year!’’

The money raised during the charity of the year partnership will allow Jigsaw to provide unique care and support to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. Jigsaw’s dedicated team of trained and highly skilled nurses, health care assistants and activity co-ordinators provide the individualised, complex nursing and therapeutic support each child and young adult needs.
