Latest Update – Coronavirus (Covid-19)

 

Due to the continued spread of Covid 19 (Coronavirus), an overwhelming sense of social responsibility within the organisation and the desire for our business to protect its staff and clients, Online Systems has implemented remote and safe working practices for the entire business with immediate effect.

All Online Systems employees have complete access to their usual work telephony and IT systems from home.

All systems have been tested and are fully operational.

We wanted to contact our clients to reassure them that the quality of support and services we provide will not be compromised for the duration, however there are some implications to make you aware of.

How we are supporting our clients

As of 24th March, we will only be attending sites to complete critical work. This includes any job that is for a client within the key worker industry sectors as detailed within Government guidelines.

These sectors include:

  • Health and Social Care
  • Education and Childcare
  • Key Public Services
  • Local and National Government
  • Food and other necessary goods
  • Public Safety and National Security
  • Transport, Utilities
  • Communication and Financial Services

We will continue to attend site for clients outside of these sectors if the purpose is it help them to meet the Government guidelines, to work remotely or to facilitate social distancing in the workplace.

Understandably, we are being inundated with requests. We will reserve the right to prioritise jobs in certain sectors where necessary. This has not been the case to date, and we expect to have enough capacity and future resource to avoid this becoming an issue.

How we are keeping our employees safe

We will supply our staff who are attending customer sites with antibacterial wipes and sanitiser where possible. We are also asking our staff to follow the current guidelines associated with social distancing and personal hygiene. We ask of our clients that you do the same with your staff to allow us to work within as safe a working environment as possible.
